Panoply is looking for a versatile and highly organized Producer to work on scripted content in the fun and fast-paced new media environment of podcasting. Can you spot a great story in a bad script? Can you see the seeds of the next hit podcast in an obscure newspaper article? Can you recognize potential in the voice of an unknown writer or performer who will go on to enthral listeners the world over? Following the success of fiction podcasts THE MESSAGE and LIFEAFTER, Panoply is expanding its scripted output. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape Panoply’s future scripted production. We are looking for an individual with a passion for drama and comedy, with a broad range of skills who can develop into the company. You will have ambition, drive and creative flair coupled with practical organisational skills and an eye for original content. The successful candidate is likely to have had several years of production experience of working in podcasts or a related field (such as theatre, film or TV) and will need to demonstrate a knowledge of and passion for podcasts, knowing what's out there and having an opinion of what's missing, especially in the fiction domain. Hands-on experience of editing audio would be an advantage but not a requirement.
