Panoply Media is looking for a Digital Advertising Sales Planner to work in the fun and fast-paced new media environment of podcasting. The Digital Advertising Sales Planner roll is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to join a close knit, smart team of a rapidly growing audio-on-demand business. You will have the opportunity to help build out our sales operations while operating in a start-up environment, but with the support of Slate and Graham Holdings Company. This job is based in Brooklyn, NY.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the completion and fulfillment of RFP’s including all Excel templates and PPT presentations
  • Work closely with the Slate Group Client Services Management and Sales teams to educate on all the new podcast marketing and network offerings
  • Build plans and strategy around podcasts, and occasionally help build podcast advertising into Slate plans
  • Participate in the development and planning of innovative digital solutions for potential and current advertising partners (including pre-sale idea generation, management approvals and final pitch)
  • Work closely with sales reps, ad operations, research and ad innovation/custom solutions departments to create and package podcast programs
  • Create new sales materials for both the podcast network and individual podcasts
  • Work with our podcast partners on occasion to attain assets, get appropriate approvals
  • Proactively develop advertising prospects lists

Requirements and attributes of the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years digital and/or radio advertising experience
  • Excellent project management, analytic and communication skills
  • Creative, with an eye for detail
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and Word
  • Proficient in: Doubleclick/MediaVisor, comScore, @Plan, Box.com and SalesForce
  • Self starter and an original thinker
